The artist will be in residence at the back of her solo show, Series Collapsed, at Night Gallery North. The artist's practice is rooted in performance. Much of her exhibition explores the relationship between art and life, and MPA's office hours will further collapse the two. The artist invites gallery visitors into an intimate nook, where she begins conversations by telling friends' stories. She brings her community's narratives and a sense of authentic, spontaneous connection into the gallery space, rethinking the boundaries of a traditional "white cube" presentation.
