Walk with Amal is a global theater project featuring the 12-foot puppet Little Amal, a young Syrian refugee girl on an international search for her mother. In a free speech demonstration, the community will walk with Little Amal through the Arts District with a march themed “Looking for Home.” The march will begin at ICA LA and end at Gladys Park, with brief stops at Para Los Niños, The Row, and Inner City Arts.
