In this short but important free training session, equip yourself with the power to save the life of a person experiencing an opioid overdose.
Led by Dr. Brian Hurley, Medical Director of the Division of Substance Abuse Prevention and Control for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, attendees will learn how to adminster Naxalone, commonly known as Narcan. The session will also feature remarks from Robin Kellner and John Sicher of the Zoe’s Story Fund.
This training is held on the heels of an internal staff Narcan training held at ICA LA on June 27, 2023, also led by Dr. Hurley as well as Dr. Kumar Felipe Vasudevan, Addiction Medicine Specialist at UCLA. Read more about the session here.
